Branding - Gaya’s Baby Learning Center & Store
This was a graphic design project in my Design Methodology class. For this branding project, I came up with an imaginary idea for a business and then developed the branding for it. As part of the project, I developed a business marketing plan of sorts, explaining the target audience of the Gaya’s Baby store. This also included how the target audience should feel about the company, which informs the development of the branding graphics. Keywords were chosen to demonstrate the brand essence of the Gaya’s Baby store. I kept these concepts of the identity of the company in mind once I began sketching to insure that ideas would work and make sense for the branding of the company.
Once a logo and color palette were established, branding guidelines could be developed, which were then applied to create designs for brand collateral for the Gaya’s Baby store. After the brand collateral was completed, a brand guide booklet for the company could be assembled, explaining all of the “rules” involved with developing graphics for the Gaya’s Baby store.
