For the Love of Writing My Dungeons & Dragons Character Backstories

I’ve played D&D (Dungeons & Dragons). And by far, my favorite part of playing D&D is coming up with the backstories for the characters I play. I think it’s fascinating to be able to come up with the backstories for these characters we play. It creates such a special connection between the character and the player. For me, specifically, I had a lot of fun writing the story for my character Dahlia, a female redhead goliath barbarian, who was adopted into a barbarian tribe. See the story I wrote for her below.

Another character I had fun writing some of the backstory for is Felicia, a female silver tabby cat tabaxi rogue. See the information about the clan she’s from below. (I also had some fun with some artificial intelligence art generation, with some of my own minimal modifications to make it what I wanted.)
