Inspiration Blast - Bendy and the Ink Machine Fan-Made Music
I know I’m late in talking about Bendy and the Ink Machine (a video game), but I was really inspired, and I wanted to share that. On YouTube, there are various original songs that are inspired by BATIM (Bendy and the Ink Machine). A lot of this music is actually really good, and it inspired me greatly. Specifically, I was driven to spend my spring break creating this simple kinetic typography with a quote from Frankenstein. This is especially significant because I have a love-hate relationship with video. However, I actually did end up completing a video project, and as a personal project! Creating a kinetic typography, even a simple one, is kind of the perfect video project for me because I love typography, and it’s essentially just making typography move. Anyway, that simple kinetic typography I made was partly inspired by this music inspired by BATIM. The videos linked here of the music are amazing! Lyric videos in general are just pretty cool, but this music specifically inspired with how it showed the lyrics of the songs. The first song I’m going to mention is All Eyes On Me by OR3O on YouTube, also linked below.
All Eyes on Me also makes me excited to get back into theatre! It also got stuck in my head a lot, too!
Here’s another great Bendy-inspired song: Art of Darkness, also below. I really love the typography in this one :)
Another great Bendy song is Gospel of Dismay by DAGames, also see it below. This is another one that got stuck in my head as well.
And last but not least, here’s the song Build Our Machine by DAGames again. Also see it below.
