Inspiration Blast - The San Quentin Project by Nigel Poor
In my last blog post, I discussed an old “Annotations” art project of mine. This was what inspired me to dig it out of my archives. This book The San Quentin Project by Nigel Poor. In it, various photographs are annotated by inmates of the San Quentin Prison taking a photography class taught by Poor. Like I’d said before in my previous blog post, I think annotations are beautiful, so seeing this book in my photography class really inspired me. It inspired me so much that I dug out that old “Annotations” art project of mine, and I still really enjoy it and appreciate it. It also inspired me so much that I bought a copy of the book for myself to add to my art book collection.
