Iguana Photograph

I took this photograph of an iguana at the Indianapolis Zoo. For the editing, I first heavily boosted the contrast in all areas of the image except for the bright portion from the sunlight on the head using a layer mask. I also used a layer mask in some of the more darker areas along the bottom of the frame to not lose those details. Next, now that the contrast had been significantly boosted, I brightened the image (except for the bright portion from the sun) using Exposure. Finally, I increased the vibrancy of the colors of the iguana.
