Play a Song: Typography - Heat Waves by Glass Animals

This was a project in my Typography III class. The goal was to choose a song we like and some selected lyrics from the song, and then create a typeface inspired by that song and the lyrics. With this typeface that we designed, we then showcased it in a CD-sized booklet, utilizing the song lyrics. For me, I chose the song "Heat Waves" by Glass Animals. I knew that I wanted to do something geometric for the typeface I created, because I'm always inspired by simple yet effective geometric typography. Bezier curves themselves were also a heavy inspiration for me for this project.
